"Filatov Lug" is a roofed metro station located along the projected “Passage Number 7029”, which connects the Solntsevo, Butovo districts and Warsaw freeway. Its commissioning solved a transport problem for two hundred thousand people living in the settlements of Sosenskoye and Moskovskiy. At present, the passenger traffic through "Filatov Lug" is about 140 thousand people per day, and in the morning rush hours, it reaches about 14 thousand people per hour.

The original architectural design of the station complex simulates the most famous stations built in the 19th and 20th centuries: London Waterloo, Pennsylvania in New York and Kievskiy in Moscow. High vaulted ceilings and large glass surfaces characterize all these buildings. Also "Filatov Lug" is characterized by a remarkable ceiling height: It reaches almost ten meters, while at other subway stations in the Moscow city area it does not exceed five meters on average.

Another special feature of the object is the original finishing of the station buildings, which includes glass, metal, composite materials, natural and artificial stone. A lot of daylight penetrates through the glass track walls to the platform, making the subway station even more similar to a classic station building. The main colour of the design is white, but the exits, ticket offices, office-station buildings and some supporting elements are in rich yellow tones. This colour combination not only attracts the eye, but also allows passengers to better orientate themselves in the flow of the crowd.

Thanks to the use of this innovative solution, which banishes "wet" processes, eliminates the need for additional reinforcements of the wall structures and allows the realization of any type of façade surface, the implementation of the municipal project was completed in a short time without any loss of quality.

The planners' choice was also influenced by the unique properties of AQUAPANEL^® Cement Board Outdoor, which forms the basis of the system. As the basic element of the structure, the board, which combines strength, 100% water resistance and non-combustibility, guaranteed the necessary speed of construction and easy installation. As a result, the construction of the metro station was accelerated considerably and its timely commissioning was ensured.
